What you’ll do:
- Review and analyze system specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on functional requirements.
- Identify and document defects clearly with relevant supporting information.
- Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Provide feedback on software usability and user experience.
- Ensure that the software product meets the quality benchmarks before release.
What we expect:
- 2+ years of experience as a manual tester or in a related role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Experience in manual testing, with the ability to test web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and product teams.
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with testing lifecycle and defect lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Experience with automation tools (optional but beneficial).
