At this role you will be responsible for reviewing system specifications, creating and executing test plans, and documenting defects. Your work will help ensure a seamless user experience through thorough testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Review and analyze system specifications.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on functional requirements.
  • Identify and document defects clearly with relevant supporting information.
  • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
  • Provide feedback on software usability and user experience.
  • Ensure that the software product meets the quality benchmarks before release.

 

What we expect:

  • 2+ years of experience as a manual tester or in a related role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
  • Experience in manual testing, with the ability to test web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with developers and product teams.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with testing lifecycle and defect lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications (preferred).
  • Experience with automation tools (optional but beneficial).
