Business Continuity Analyst

GMS is currently looking for a Business Continuity Analyst to support our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 22301 requirements.

This is a fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.

In this role, you will contribute to business impact analyses, continuity planning, audits, and recovery activities.

What Will You Do   

• Support Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) processes in accordance with the international standard ISO 22301 and maintain GMS’ existing ISO 22301 certification.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs).
• Develop plans to test and audit the organization’s business continuity preparedness and ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the Business Continuity Management System.
• Execute GMS’ Business Continuity Management (BCM) program according to the defined schedule.
• Manage Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and support other departments in drafting and maintaining their plans.
• Maintain and update internal BCM-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and business processes. Identify the need for new business continuity policies, review existing ones, and propose relevant improvements.
• Serve as a member of the Emergency Response and Crisis Management Team, providing support during recovery activities.
• Contribute to emergency response and crisis management activities, providing support during business recovery.
• Review business continuity provisions in contracts with suppliers and clients, including service availability commitments.

What We Expect 

•  At least 3 years of experience in business continuity, crisis management, and disaster recovery processes, or a similar field, within companies with 200+ employees. Experience in the telecommunications sector would be an advantage.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, computer science, engineering, law, or economics.
• Relevant certifications in business continuity or disaster recovery, such as Certified Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional (EDRP), Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), would be an advantage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential. Fluency in Ukrainian would be an advantage.
• Experience working with the Microsoft 365 cloud environment and an understanding of its business continuity, backup, and recovery features.
• Experience participating in ISO 22301 audits.
• Experience participating in crisis management activities would be an advantage.
• An organized, solution-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills.
