BAAR, Switzerland; March 2nd, 2026 – GMS, the AI-driven communications solutions partner for enterprises and mobile network operators, announces its partnership with Shabodi as a technical partner to accelerate Network APIs enablement and aggregation strategy.
Through this collaboration, GMS is providing a combined enablement and aggregation platform. This supports operators in exposing standardized Network APIs and enabling their monetization through a centralized aggregation of enterprise demand.
GMS provides a unified framework that connects operator capabilities directly to enterprise consumption. Based on GSMA Open Gateway principles and CAMARA-standardized APIs, this model allows operators to monetize network data at scale while ensuring secure, interoperable access across markets. For enterprises, Network APIs provide an alternative for authentication and fraud prevention, powered by trusted network signals such as SIM Swap detection, Number Verification, Device Status, and Location Validation. Advanced use cases include Quality on Demand, QoS Profiles, KYC, and many more. By aggregating these capabilities across multiple operator environments, GMS strengthens identity assurance, reduces fraud risk, and accelerates time-to-value while maintaining high security, privacy, and regulatory compliance standards.
What differentiates GMS is its position across the full Network API value chain. Unlike technology-only vendors focused on exposure or aggregators focused solely on distribution, GMS combines deep network expertise, proven aggregation capabilities, and established enterprise relationships at scale. Built over 20 years of industry experience, GMS is uniquely positioned to translate standardized Network APIs into real commercial value. GMS platform supports end-to-end orchestration, network-agnostic deployment from 4G to 5G standalone environments, and seamless fallback between Network APIs and traditional messaging channels. This enables operators to efficiently monetize network intelligence while delivering secure, interoperable services to enterprises across markets.
GMS’s Network API Platform, powered by Shabodi, enables operators to seamlessly transition from capability exposure to CAMARA-based standardization and monetization, regardless of their current API maturity. The platform allows operators to unlock the value of network intelligence without complex transformation initiatives. By eliminating dependency on full core modernization, operators can accelerate Network API adoption while preserving existing infrastructure investments.
Charles Upchurch, CEO at GMS, commented on this announcement: “Connectivity and messaging remain the foundation of our industry, and advanced network capabilities now expand how operators can monetize and deliver network intelligence. Network APIs represent an important addition to our portfolio, enabling operators to securely expose network data and unlock new revenue streams. We are proud to collaborate with Shabodi as our technical partner, whose expertise strengthens the foundation of this initiative. Together, we are helping bridge network innovation with enterprise demand while reinforcing trust across the ecosystem.”

Ramesh Kaza, President of Shabodi, said: “We are proud to partner with GMS as they expand into the Network API business. By combining Shabodi’s technical expertise with GMS’s deep operator relationships and aggregation capabilities, we are enabling a scalable foundation for standardized Network API exposure and monetization.”
As part of its broader strategic approach, GMS has joined the GSMA Open Gateway initiative, supporting the global effort to standardize Network API exposure across operators. GMS has already received GSMA Open Gateway certification for four Network APIs, with certification for more expected shortly, further strengthening its standards-aligned Network API portfolio. GSMA Open Gateway APIs are developed in collaboration with the CAMARA open-source community, which defines common, interoperable API specifications to ensure portability, consistency, and secure enterprise consumption across markets. This alignment ensures that GMS’s Network API enablement and aggregation approach is built on globally recognized industry frameworks.
