We are looking for a motivated Junior Cyber Security Operations Specialist to join our team and help protect our organization’s digital assets. You will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events, ensuring the safety and resilience of our systems.

What You Will Do
- Monitor security events and alerts from SIEM, EDR, WAF, DLP, and other security platforms.
- Analyze and triage alerts to identify true security incidents and reduce false positives.
- Investigation and documenting of security incidents.
- Execute incident response procedures, including containment and recovery actions, collect, analyze, and preserve evidence for forensic investigations and post-incident reviews.
- Maintain and tune security detection rules, policies, and use cases to improve visibility and effectiveness.
- Prepare incident reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
- Support vulnerability management activities and track remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with ITOps, Network, and Product teams during investigations and remediation.
What We Expect
- 1–3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), cybersecurity operations, or incident response role is a plus. Candidates with strong relevant knowledge, including recent graduates or those with internship experience, will also be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and attacker techniques.
- Knowledge of network security, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common enterprise architectures.
- Familiarity with incident response lifecycles and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
- English proficiency: Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate.
Will be a plus:
- Hands-on experience monitoring and investigating security alerts and incidents.
- Experience supporting security audits, compliance activities, or internal investigations.
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
- Understanding of SIEM platforms, endpoint protection and EDR tools, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), DLP and email security solutions, log analysis and monitoring tools, vulnerability scanning tools, ticketing and case management systems.
