As Regional Director for LATAM, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and strengthening GMS presence across the region. Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, you will focus on developing key client relationships, supporting regional strategy execution, and ensuring consistent business performance.
This is a hands-on role combining sales leadership, regional coordination, and direct involvement in key opportunities.

What Will You Do
- Drive revenue growth and business development across the LATAM region.
- Support the execution of regional strategy in alignment with global commercial priorities.
- Manage and grow key accounts and strategic partnerships, including MNOs and enterprises.
- Lead and coordinate a regional team (2 direct reports), ensuring focus and performance.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the region.
- Participate in commercial negotiations, supporting sustainable deal structures.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, operations, finance) to ensure effective delivery and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent GMS in client engagements and industry events.
What We Expect
- 10–15+ years of experience in telecom, messaging, or related industries, with a focus on sales and business development.
- Proven experience working across LATAM markets.
- Good understanding of the A2P/P2P/P2A messaging ecosystem and telecom landscape.
- Established relationships with mobile operators and/or key industry players are a strong advantage.
- Experience managing or mentoring small teams.
- Strong commercial mindset with a hands-on, execution-driven approach.
- Ability to identify opportunities and drive business growth within the region.
- Comfortable balancing client-facing activities and internal coordination.
- Solid analytical skills, including forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Advanced English; Spanish and Portuguese are required.
