- Robert Rose, a Member of the Board at GMS, has been appointed to the Global Board of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF), where he will represent his company. Robert brings over 25 years of expertise in the digital information business and a strong background in mobile messaging expansion to the role at MEF.
Robert's background includes a significant tenure at SAP Mobile Services from 2007 to 2017, where he served as Senior Director. His role at SAP involved establishing productive relationships with mobile operators worldwide and securing consistent revenue growth. From 2017 to 2023, Robert held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at GMS, where he played a crucial role in the company's geographical expansion and service evolution during a period of significant change in the mobile messaging ecosystem.
His extensive experience and strong industry relationships will be a significant asset in guiding MEF's initiatives and further enhancing the organization's strategic direction within the dynamic mobile ecosystem landscape.
