We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Manager with a proactive, “can-do” attitude to lead the organization of impactful events and represent GMS at industry exhibitions, strengthening client loyalty and elevating our brand experience.

What Will You Do

  • Coordinate and approve both external (industry events and exhibitions) and internal GMS events. This includes organizing participation in the selected format (passes, booths, catering, meeting rooms, designing and producing branded materials, coordinating legal and financial aspects, etc.); supporting participants during preparation and the event itself; and reporting on event outcomes, including sales (based on CRM data such as generated leads and opportunities).
  • Develop concepts for GMS-owned events, including location and contractor search, and manage the full scope of organizational tasks.
  • Attend events and ensure the highest level of hospitality for both company representatives and clients.
  • Prepare and oversee the annual budget for events and related activities.
  • Continuously analyze competitor event activity and prepare monthly reviews.
  • Support event logistics by coordinating travel arrangements with the travel team and managing the delivery of necessary materials with logistics providers.

What We Expect

  • 2+ years of international event project management experience.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end event logistics and collaboration with senior leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-level projects across various regions and cultures.
  • Strong research and reporting skills related to event options, venues, and accommodation, aligned with program format and budget.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce is an advantage).
  • Experience in organizing conferences or business events at hotel venues is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
